The Dance Hidez Consignment Program is designed specifically for adult amateur ballroom dancers looking to sell their gently used ballroom gowns, Latin dresses, performance wear, and dance shoes—without the hassle.

We make it simple, professional, and dancer-friendly.

How It Works:

  1. Fill Out the Consignment Form
    Start by completing our easy-to-use form to tell us about your items.

  2. Drop Off or Ship Your Items

    • Attending an event where we have a booth? Bring your items with you!

    • Local to Vancouver, WA? We’ll arrange a pickup or drop-off at Arthur Murray Vancouver.

    • Outside the area? Ship your items directly to us.

  3. We Handle the Selling
    Your pieces will be displayed online, at showcases, and at live ballroom events, where dancers can try them on in person—increasing your chance of a quick sale.

  4. You Get Paid!
    After your item sells, we send you payment (minus the consignment fee).

Consignment Fees:

  • 15% fee if you drop off and pick up your item at an event

  • 30% fee if we store and continue selling your item after the event

Resale Pricing Guide:

Need help pricing? Use this guide:

  • Like New (Worn 1–2 times): 60–80% of original price

  • Gently Used: 40–60%

  • Moderate Wear: 25–40%

  • Older/Heavily Worn: 10–25%

FAQs:

How long does it take to sell?
It depends on condition, style, and demand. Some items sell in weeks, others may take a few months.

Can I list my item elsewhere too?
Yes! Just notify us if it sells so we can remove it from our listing.

What if it doesn’t sell?
You can pick it up at an event, have it shipped back (shipping fees apply), or leave it listed with us longer.
